Training & Conferences
CII has a long history of leadership in providing professionals with the information and training they need to improve the well-being of at-risk children and their families. The agency has provided expert instruction to more than 60,000 professionals on topics related to child welfare and child development, and has sponsored and provided trainings with children's organizations from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the former Soviet Union.
Our training opportunities vary from single-topic seminars, to broad-based statewide, national and international conferences.

Pre-Doctoral Internship Program in Clinical Psychology
CII's Pre-Doctoral Internship Program in Clinical Psychology helps to ensure the quality and success for tomorrow's professionals. The program is tailored to reflect CII's comprehensive work in treating and preventing child abuse and neglect, and other forms of family and community violence. Graduate students are provided with the knowledge and experience they need to work effectively with high-risk children, and to develop the multicultural competence to work with families in one of the country's most diverse and challenged urban areas.
